Ramps

Wild leeks, or a cross between a green onion and garlic. Pungent aroma. They appear once a year here. They are cooked with many things, but are used as a tonic, as they have the ability to clean out your colon.

I had a nice meal last week of venison steak cooked with mushrooms, onions and ramps; along with some potatoes and a salad. Hillbilly fare.

From looking at them, I seem to see a pattern:

pictures of animals (cool!)
self-portraits of young girls who act shocked (WTF?)
the outcome of some internet based survey ("I am a raging serial killer")
the random cam phone thing

so it means people do the same thing - they write, they talk, they interact, they live. it's good and it's bad. but it's life and to quote Firesign Theatre "the future - I say live it or live with it"

mine doesn't look like this, and I enjoy pork in many shapes and sizes.

I've been busier than I thought I would be. The key is this - have fun and enjoy life the way you want to. If you want to sit home and read, do it. If you want to tend to a garden, do it. If you want to travel, do it, if you want to sit in bars, do it. Do what your heart tells you and enjoy yourself, and good things will eventually happen.
